Appliance Repair Service Inc. was started in 1983 by Ross Slagle. Mr. Slagle has worked hard over the years to build the business into a reputable company that serves most of East Tennessee. Today, Appliance Repair Service Inc is co-owned by Mr. Slagle and his son Zach. They, along with a team of outstanding technicians, have become Whirlpool’s only factory authorized service providers for all of East Tennessee.
Being Whirlpool’s factory authorized service means the company is held to high standards and has consistently met those standards. Appliance Repair Service Inc boasts a 75% first call complete percentage. This is due to our extensive truck stock and the office’s ability to pre-identify parts for each call. By doing so, the technicians are able to get the majority of the calls done on the first trip. For this, Appliance Repair Service Inc has twice been named one of Whirlpool’s top servicers, once in 2015 and again in 2022.
